MG Majestor Prices Hiked By Up To Rs. 1.5 Lakh
Google News

JSW MG Motor India has increased the prices of the MG Majestor in August 2026. This marks the first price revision since the premium SUV launched in May 2026.
The price hike is applicable only to selected variants. MG has not announced any changes to the SUV's features or mechanical package alongside the revision.
Savvy 4X2 Variants Become Costlier
The MG Majestor is currently offered in a single fully loaded Savvy trim. Buyers can choose between 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrains with six or seven seat layouts. At launch, the Savvy 4X2 variants were priced at Rs. 40.99 lakh. The Savvy 4X4 variant carried an ex showroom price of Rs. 44.99 lakh.
The company has now increased the prices of both Savvy 4X2 variants by Rs. 1.5 lakh. They are now priced at Rs. 42.49 lakh, ex showroom. The Savvy 4X4 variant remains unchanged. It continues to retail at Rs. 44.99 lakh, ex showroom. MG had also announced a Sharp 4X2 variant earlier. However, that version has still not been introduced in the market.
Features And Powertrain Remain Unchanged
Apart from the revised pricing, the MG Majestor remains unchanged. It continues to offer the same premium equipment and luxury features. The 4X4 version comes with additional off road hardware. These include triple locking differentials, 10 terrain modes, a transfer case with low range, and M Crawl mode.
Both 4X2 and 4X4 variants share most other comfort and technology features. The SUV also offers one of the largest cabins in its segment. Power comes from a 2.0 litre twin turbo diesel engine. It produces 215.5 PS and 478.5 Nm of torque.
The engine is paired with an eight speed automatic gearbox. The MG Majestor competes with the Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu MU X. It also rivals premium monocoque SUVs like the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron, Jeep Meridian, and Honda ZR V.
Despite the latest price hike, the MG Majestor continues to attract buyers with its feature rich package, spacious cabin, and strong off road capability.
