MG Windsor EV Achieves 75,000 Sales Milestone in India

JSW MG Motor India has announced that the MG Windsor EV has crossed the 75,000-unit sales milestone. The electric vehicle achieved this milestone in less than two years. Since its launch in September 2024, the Windsor has become one of India's most popular electric cars. Moreover, MG says it continues to lead the country's EV sales charts.

Strong Sales Continue Across India

The MG Windsor EV has witnessed steady demand from buyers across metro cities and emerging markets.

Windsor Offers Advanced Features

MG introduced several customer-focused solutions with the Windsor EV. One of the biggest highlights remains the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model. The spacious cabin, premium materials, and lounge-style rear seats have also attracted many buyers.

The standard Windsor uses a 38 kWh battery pack. It delivers a claimed driving range of 332 km. The Windsor Pro comes with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack. It offers a claimed range of 449 km.

Flexible Pricing Options

MG continues to offer flexible pricing for different customer needs. The Windsor EV starts at Rs. 9.99 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service model. Battery rental charges begin from Rs. 3.9 per kilometre. Without the BaaS option, prices range from Rs. 14.70 lakh to Rs. 19 lakh (ex-showroom). MG also offers the Windsor Commute fleet variant. It is priced at Rs. 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

JSW MG Motor India credited the Windsor EV's success to its value-focused package and strong customer response. The company believes the model has played an important role in increasing electric vehicle adoption across India.

With 75,000 units already sold, the MG Windsor EV continues to strengthen its position as one of India's leading electric vehicles.
