Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Facelift To Launch In India On October 5

Mercedes-Benz will launch the updated Maybach S-Class in India on October 5, 2026. The facelifted luxury sedan made its global debut in March and will arrive in India with styling changes, updated cabin technology and additional personalisation options.

The new Maybach S-Class also receives powertrain updates in international markets. However, Mercedes-Benz has not yet confirmed which engine or powertrain configuration will be offered with the India-spec model.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Gets New Exterior Styling

The updated Maybach S-Class gets a revised front-end design with a larger grille and new lighting elements. The grille retains the Maybach-specific vertical slats and is paired with an illuminated Mercedes star on the bonnet. New forged alloy wheels and updated rear lighting further set the facelifted model apart.

The updated Maybach S-Class gets the Superscreen setup already seen on the new S-Class. It combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14.4-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch passenger display. The cabin also gets new upholstery colours and a wider range of personalisation options.

Rear-seat passengers get more adjustment and comfort features, with the seats reclining up to 43 degrees. They are also heated, ventilated and massaging, while two smartphone-style remotes replace the earlier tablet controller for accessing various cabin functions.

Engine And Hybrid Options

The updated Maybach S-Class is offered with multiple powertrain options in international markets. The S 580 gets a revised V8, while the S 580e combines a petrol engine with an electric motor. The S 680 is also available with different engine options depending on the market.
