Overview of Hyundai Aura

The Hyundai Aura is a compact sedan which is offered in the price range of ₹ 6.00 Lakh to ₹ 8.54 Lakh. The 1.2L Kappa petrol engine inside it produces a peak 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque, for petrol variants. While the bi-fuel (Petrol + CNG) engine gives out a bit reduced 68 bhp power and 95.2 Nm peak torque. Nevertheless, the latter one ultimately gives a more improved fuel efficiency. Buyers also get options in transmission types where both automatic and manual are available in petrol, whereas bi-fuel variants are only in manual mode.

The sedan gives a comparatively wide boot space of 402-litres (being a compact sedan). Talking about size, it stands at 1520mm height, measuring 3995mm in length and an overall 2450mm wheelbase. This makes it easier in urban environments where parking is a major constraint. The car has got 4 exterior hues and dual-tone grey colour in the interior. The outer appearance is stylized by black grille, LED daytime lamps, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Z-shaped LED taillamps and much more. Overall, Aura received much love from Indian buyers by getting an average 4.5 stars out of 5.

  • Best for City Drives: The Aura S AMT is highly practical for city traffic conditions. The automatic gearbox reduces driving stress during bumper-to-bumper traffic while the compact dimensions help in tight parking spaces.
  • Best Value for Money: The mid-spec Aura S Corporate variant offers the best balance between fuel efficiency, performance and affordability. Buyers get the refined petrol engine along with lower maintenance costs compared to automatic variants.
