Hyundai Motor India Sales Record Highest-Ever Volume of 75,360 Units in July 2026

Gurugram | August 01, 2026: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) published its monthly performance figures for July 2026, delivering its highest-ever monthly dispatches since inception. The automaker registered a total volume of 75,360 units across domestic and international markets. Thus, this marks a strong surge compared to previous months.

Passenger Vehicle Sales Saw 25.4% YoY Growth

In July 2026, Hyundai’s domestic dispatches reached 54,210 units, up 23.3% from 43,966 units in July 2025. Export shipments rose significantly to 21,150 units which marks its highest monthly export figure in over 100 months in India. This resulted in an overall 25.4% year-on-year expansion of the model.

Sequential Volumes Rebound Across MoM Statistics

The July 2026 figures reflect a major turnaround following the temporary production disruptions faced in June 2026. Total monthly sales rebounded sharply from 51,335 units in June 2026, with domestic dispatches jumping 36.77%. And considering export volumes, those climbed by 9,450 units as factory operations fully normalized.

Strong Domestic & Export Momentum Drives Performance

Commenting on the milestone performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India, said:

Key models led this surge, with the Creta clocking its highest monthly sales for CY26 at 18,088 units. Another highly sold model - i20, recorded 6,738 units. With plant operations fully restored after previous supply chain disruptions, Hyundai has quickly recovered its output and positions itself strongly for the upcoming festive period.
