Supplier Fire Disturbs Manufacturing Output
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India, noted a production loss of 13,900 units. This temporary disruption stemmed from a fire incident at a key supplier facility. However, the company has successfully normalized factory operations since June 22, 2026, by procuring alternative automotive components.
Hyundai's June sales decline reflects temporary logistics constraints rather than structural market issues. The brand plans to recover this deficit through maximized plant output within the second quarter of the financial year.
