2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Unveiled With Key Upgrades

Skoda Auto India has officially revealed the 2026 Slavia facelift. Pre-bookings for the updated midsize sedan are now open across dealerships. Official prices will be announced in early October, with deliveries scheduled to begin during the upcoming festive season.

With a very soon official launch, the Slavia car facelift is likely to get a hike of Rs. 85,000, over the current prices, Rs 10.00 lakh and Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Refreshed Exterior Styling and Cabin Upgrades

The updated Slavia retains its overall silhouette while adopting revised front and rear styling elements. A prominent rear 'SKODA' trim connects the updated LED tail-lamps, which now feature sequential turn indicators.

Key design and interior feature additions include:

• Exterior Tweak: Redesigned front bumper, revised grille, new LED DRL signature, and refreshed alloy wheel designs.
• Cabin Tech: A larger 10.1-inch central touchscreen replaces the older unit, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
• Driver Aids: A 360-degree camera system replaces the standard reversing setup, alongside an updated AC compressor unit.
• Passenger Comfort: Segment-first rear-seat massaging functions, while a single-pane sunroof continues as standard equipment.

Powertrains and Transmission Options

Skoda retains its turbo-petrol engines but introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox for the entry-level engine.

The new 8-speed torque converter replaces the older 6-speed automatic on the 1.0 TSI engine. However, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) remain absent from the updated package.

The sedan continues to rival the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Virtus. New color options include Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, with deliveries for the latter starting in December.

This mid-cycle refresh provides necessary feature upgrades to sustain the Slavia's market share in India's competitive sedan segment. The addition of a 360-degree camera, rear massage seats and an 8-speed automatic addresses key consumer preferences. These additions ensure the sedan remains a compelling option for midsize car buyers.
