Skoda Auto India has announced a price revision across its product portfolio, effective October 1, 2026. The ex-showroom prices will increase by up to 1.2 per cent, with the exact revision varying by model and variant. The maximum increase has been capped at Rs 20,000. Skoda has attributed the revision to rising input and operational costs.
Skoda To Revise Prices Across Its India Portfolio
The upcoming revision will apply to Skoda's India range, with the extent of the increase varying between models and variants. The company has not disclosed the individual price changes yet, but has confirmed that the maximum hike will be limited to Rs 20,000. The revised ex-showroom prices will come into effect from October 1.
Skoda's previous price revision came earlier this year, when the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia received price increases in January. The Kodiaq was revised separately at a later stage. The latest announcement therefore marks another price adjustment for the brand's India portfolio within the same year.
Skoda Expands Its Portfolio With New Products And Trims
The carmaker began 2026 with a plan for 10 product actions and has introduced several updates since then. These include the new Kushaq and Slavia, updates to the Kodiaq, and the Kodiaq RS and Octavia RS. The Kylaq also received new features and trims, including the Sportline, while Classic+ and Prestige+ trims were added across the portfolio.
The company is also preparing to launch the facelifted Slavia on October 6. The updated sedan brings revised styling and additional features, while its 1.0-litre TSI engine gets a new eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre TSI continues with the seven-speed DSG, with the facelift's prices set to be announced at the launch.
Skoda Records Strong Sales In 2026
Skoda recorded its highest-ever first-half sales in India in 2026 and crossed 50,000 units by August, representing growth of more than 8 per cent over the same period last year. The company had also recorded its biggest annual sales in 2025, with 72,655 cars sold.
Its cumulative sales of locally manufactured cars have now crossed 250,000 units, covering models such as the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia. More than 75,000 of these units are Kylaq models. Skoda has also expanded its presence to more than 345 customer touchpoints across 193 cities in India.
Car Junction Insights
The October price revision comes at a time when Skoda is making several changes to its India portfolio. While the increase is capped at Rs 20,000, the actual impact on buyers will depend on the model and variant selected. The Slavia facelift will bring another significant update to the range just days after the new prices come into effect.
With Skoda announcing a price hike from October 1, buyers awaiting the Skoda Slavia Facelift launch in October may want to keep an eye on its upcoming pricing.
