Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch Set For October 6

Skoda Auto India is set to launch the Slavia facelift on October 6, 2026. The updated midsize sedan will receive styling changes, new interior features and equipment upgrades over the current model. Production of the facelift has already started at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India’s facility in Chakan, Pune. Pre-bookings are also underway for Rs. 15,000, while the updated sedan is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh.

Slavia Facelift Gets Exterior Changes

The Slavia facelift features revised headlamps and tail-lamps along with restyled bumpers and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The tail-lamps also get sequential turn indicators, while two new exterior colours, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, have been added.

These changes give the sedan a refreshed appearance while retaining its existing overall design. The facelift is positioned as the first comprehensive update to the Slavia since its introduction over four years ago.

Updated Interior And New Features

Inside, the overall dashboard layout remains largely unchanged, but Skoda has introduced several equipment upgrades. The sedan now gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with updated graphics and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.

Other features include a single-pane sunroof, 360-degree camera, powered and ventilated front seats, rear-seat massaging function and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The brand has also upgraded the air-conditioning system with a variable-geometry compressor for improved cooling performance.

New Automatic Gearbox For 1.0-Litre TSI

The Slavia facelift will also introduce an 8-speed automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI engine. This will replace the outgoing automatic transmission option for the smaller petrol engine. The updated gearbox is one of the key mechanical changes expected with the facelift. Meanwhile, more details on the complete powertrain and variant line-up are expected closer to the launch.
