2026 Renault Kwid Launched in India at ₹4.53 Lakh

July 3, 2026: Renault India has launched the updated Kwid in the Indian market at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹4.53 lakh. The latest update arrives less than a year after the 10th Anniversary Edition. While the hatchback does not receive major design changes, Renault has introduced important safety upgrades.

The new Kwid continues with its compact design and city-friendly character. It is now available in Evolution and Climber variants, while retaining its familiar engine and feature list.

2026 Renault Kwid: What's New?

The exterior design of the new Renault Kwid remains largely unchanged. The front continues with the same styling, while the rear gets a slightly revised tail lamp housing. The company has also added its latest brand logo and updated the wheel design.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard layout, infotainment system, and interior materials remain the same. However, the new safety upgrade is the biggest change in this update.

• Six airbags in the top-spec Climber variant
• New Renault logo
• Slightly updated rear tail lamp housing
• Revised wheel design
• Only two variants available: Evolution and Climber

Renault Kwid Price and Variants

The updated Renault Kwid is available with both manual (MT) and AMT gearbox options. Customers can also opt for an official CNG retrofitment kit priced at ₹70,449.

Engine and Features

The updated Renault Kwid continues with the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 67 bhp and 91 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox, while the mechanical setup remains unchanged.
