New Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Pickup Launch Price ₹19.79 Lakh

Mumbai, August 14, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled its new Scorpio Lifestyler pickup, which will enter the Indian market by April 2027. The new Mahindra pickup will have a starting price below ₹19.79 lakh ex-showroom.

The Scorpio Lifestyler is Mahindra's new lifestyle pickup designed for customers who want the utility of a pickup along with the comfort of an SUV. The company has developed the model for both Indian and international markets. It will be sold as the Mahindra Lifestyler in international markets.

Mahindra first showcased the Global Pik Up concept in Cape Town, South Africa, in August 2023. Since then, the company has developed the production-ready model with a focus on capability, technology, safety and comfort.

With its India launch planned by April 2027, the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler price will start below ₹19.79 lakh. The company has not yet announced the complete variant-wise pricing or all technical specifications.

Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Pickup Launch By April 2027

The Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler pickup will make its India debut in the lifestyle pickup segment. Mahindra has designed it for customers who want to use a pickup for daily work, travel, outdoor activities and leisure.

The company describes the new pickup as a vehicle built for both payload and playload. Therefore, the Scorpio Lifestyler aims to combine its load-carrying role with features and comfort suited to personal use.

The new pickup gets Mahindra's next-generation body-on-frame architecture. This platform supports the vehicle's focus on strength and capability. At the same time, Mahindra has worked on the cabin and overall design to offer a more comfortable experience.

New Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Designed In India

Mahindra has designed and developed the Scorpio Lifestyler through its Indian design and engineering centres. The Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS) in Mumbai handled the vehicle's design, while the Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai worked on its development.

The company says it developed the pickup after studying the needs of customers across different international markets. As a result, the Scorpio Lifestyler aims to meet different requirements related to daily use, travel and outdoor activities.

In addition, Mahindra has focused on combining a bold exterior with a comfortable interior. The company wants the new pickup to offer SUV-like comfort while retaining the character expected from a pickup.

Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Gets Three Editions

Mahindra has showcased the new pickup in three editions: Valley, Reef and Trail. Each edition follows a different design theme and highlights a different use of the Scorpio Lifestyler.

Valley Edition: The Valley Edition focuses on customers who want to combine work and leisure. It comes in an Artemis Grey finish inspired by the colours of large estates.
Reef Edition: The Reef Edition focuses on outdoor activities, freedom and exploration. It gets an Aquareef finish inspired by the changing shades of the ocean.
Trail Edition: The Trail Edition takes a more adventure-focused approach. It comes in a Sahara Beige finish inspired by large sand landscapes and open trails.

Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Targets Global Markets

Although the Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler launch in India will take place by April 2027, the pickup has a wider global focus. Mahindra will sell it as the Mahindra Lifestyler in international markets.

The company plans to target the midsize lifestyle pickup segment in Australia and New Zealand, South Africa, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

The new pickup combines pickup capability with modern technology, safety and comfort. Moreover, Mahindra aims to use its experience in international pickup markets to support the new model.
