Mahindra Domestic PV Sales Hit Record High of 73,338 Units in October 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra recorded its highest-ever monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales in October 2026. Taken by high festive demand and strong portfolio interest, the brand's SUV domestic sales reached 73,338 units. Add 1,566 units of exports, the total sales is 74,904 units. On top of that, Mahindra registered healthy sequential growth over the previous month.

Year-on-Year Passenger Vehicle Performance

Mahindra achieved a 2% growth in domestic passenger vehicle sales compared to October 2025. The Utility Vehicles (UV) segment dominated the numbers completely, as Mahindra maintains an all-SUV portfolio in the passenger market.

Furthermore, cumulative year-to-date (YTD) sales for the current fiscal year reached 4,31,480 units. This reflects a solid 17% growth compared to the 3,69,194 units sold in the corresponding period last year.

Month-on-Month Sales Trend

Sequentially, Mahindra saw a sharp jump in domestic SUV dispatches in October 2026. Compared to 64,092 units recorded in September 2026, sales expanded by over 9,200 units.

Meanwhile, the arrival of peak festive purchases gave a direct boost to showroom deliveries across the country. The high demand for compact and mid-size SUVs maintained strong monthly delivery schedules.

According to Dr. Velusamy R, President, Automotive Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., October was a landmark month for the company, with SUV sales topping at 73,338 units and total vehicle sales of 1,31,109, both being the highest ever clocked in a single month.

He further noted that the festive season, paired with a refreshed portfolio, sustained strong demand across their vehicle lineups. He added that their first CNG vehicle, the XUV 3XO CNG, has also seen strong traction with customers.
