Mahindra PV Sales Jump 8.16% MoM in September 2026 with 14% YoY SUV Growth

Mahindra & Mahindra reported 64,092 passenger vehicle sales in September 2026. The manufacturer recorded a solid 14% year-on-year growth driven by strong SUV demand. Unlike Mahindra’s August performance, this time the company has posted an upward trend in both annual as well as monthly sales.

A large part of Mahindra’s sales is nowadays taken by its electric SUV cars, which this time the total numbers have crossed 1 Lakh. Exports numbers have also sustained the overall PV sales, although a slight dip of 7% has been seen.

Mahindra continued its strong yearly upward growth trajectory across its domestic utility vehicle lineup. The SUV portfolio remained the primary driver of domestic passenger vehicle sales.

Sequential passenger vehicle sales gained strong momentum in September 2026 compared to August. However, Mahindra Cars total international shipments registered a decline compared to the previous month.
