Tata Punch EV Will Now be Available in 2 New Colours
Google News

The Electric micro-SUV market is on fire as Tata Motors prepares to release the Punch EV facelift on February 20, 2026. Before the official price announcement, the carmaker confirmed the two new exterior shades of the model - Bright Yellow and Copper hue. These new shades are inspired by Tata’s existing models - Safari, Tiago EV and Harrier.
New Palette: Bright Yellow & Copper Hue
Tata is known for its "Persona"-based colour philosophy, and Tata Punch EV is going to benefit from it. The two new models will replace or be placed alongside the current 7-colour line:
Bright Yellow: This is based on the flagship Harrier but is geared towards a younger lifestyle audience with high-energy yellow colour (usually matched with an opposite black roof).
Copper Hue: Following the footsteps of the Safari (and the Supernova Copper, in this case), this color gives some classy earthiness to the roughness of the EV.
Apart from the newly added colours, the car is getting newly designed 16-inch aero-style alloy wheels, similar to the larger Nexon EV.
Technological Improvements and Extension
Although the colors are in the spotlight, the 2026 facelift has added considerable upgrades to enhance driving experience & performance.
- Larger Displays: The interior should also feature a new 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the older 10.25-inch one.
- Advanced Safety: Top-spec trims will be rumored to have Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Enhanced Range: The two battery options offer better range - 25 kWh battery giving 315 km range, while the 35 kWh battery gives a 412 kms range.
The Tata Punch EV facelift is not an exterior showcase but a strategic act to maintain its position against the competition, such as the ones like Citroen eC3. The Punch EV, with its daring new colors such as Sunlit Yellow and a multitude of tech-packed features, is a competitive option for urban commuters aiming to achieve style without emissions.
