Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has reported its sales performance for August 2026, recording strong growth across its passenger vehicle business. The company sold 67,753 passenger vehicles in the domestic and international markets during the month. Electric vehicle sales also recorded a significant increase, highlighting the growing contribution of Tata Motors' EV portfolio.
Domestic Market Drives Sales Growth
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles sold 67,753 units in August 2026, compared with 43,315 units in August 2025. This resulted in a 56% YoY growth during the month, supported primarily by higher domestic passenger vehicle sales. Domestic PV sales increased by 59%, while international business sales registered an 8% rise compared with August last year.

Passenger Vehicle Sales Rise 6.26% MoM
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles also recorded higher sales compared with July 2026. Total PV sales increased from 63,760 units in July to 67,753 units in August, marking a 6.26% MoM growth. Domestic PV sales also moved higher, while international business recorded a sharper month-on-month increase.
