MINI India has officially opened bookings for the latest iteration of the MINI Convertible, now enhanced with the JCW sport pack. This move brings a more performance-oriented aesthetic to the iconic open-top four-seater, catering to enthusiasts looking for classic British style.
Sportier Design and Enhanced Aerodynamics
The standout feature of this release is the inclusion of the JCW aerodynamic kit as standard. This package introduces a more muscular front apron, larger air intakes for improved cooling, and a revised rear diffuser. These changes are not merely cosmetic; they are designed to optimize airflow and stability at higher speeds.
The exterior is further characterized by:
- Contoured JCW-specific side skirts that lower the visual profile of the car.
- Exclusive 17-inch JCW light-alloy wheels featuring a high-contrast two-tone finish.
- The signature Union Jack LED taillights and a high-gloss black finish on the grille and exhaust tips.
- A fully electric soft-top that can be operated at speeds up to 30 kmph, featuring an integrated sunroof function.
Performance and Interior Sophistication
The Convertible is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The powertrain is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, ensuring rapid gear shifts and a responsive driving experience.
Inside, the JCW influence continues with sport seats upholstered in Dinamica/leather, a JCW steering wheel, and stainless steel pedal caps. The cabin also features the latest 8.8-inch circular infotainment display and a refreshed digital instrument cluster.
By offering the JCW pack for the new Convertible, MINI India is doubling down on its "Go-Kart feeling" philosophy. This update ensures the model remains competitive in the luxury niche market, providing a distinct alternative to traditional executive sedans. Prospective buyers can now reserve the model through MINI’s digital shop or authorized dealerships nationwide.
