Mahindra Raises SUV Prices by 2.7% From July 10

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a price hike across its SUV lineup, effective July 10, 2026. The company will increase SUV prices by an average of 2.7%, although the exact increase will vary depending on the model and variant.

According to Mahindra, the latest price revision is mainly due to rising commodity and raw material costs. However, the actual increase will vary depending on the model and variant. Customers planning to buy a Mahindra vehicle before July 10 may still be able to purchase it at the current price.

Mahindra Says Rising Commodity Costs Led to the Price Hike

Mahindra stated that higher prices of essential raw materials such as steel, aluminium, copper, rubber, and plastics have increased manufacturing costs. Along with material costs, expenses related to transportation, sourcing, and production have also gone up.

To manage these rising costs, the company has decided to pass on part of the additional expense to customers through this price revision. This is also Mahindra's second price increase in 2026, following an earlier hike announced in April.

Price Increase Will Differ Across Models and Variants

The announced figures are average price increases across Mahindra's portfolio. The exact revision will depend on the specific vehicle and variant selected by the buyer.

The revised prices will apply to Mahindra's passenger SUVs, including the XUV 3XO, Bolero, Bolero Neo, Thar, Thar Roxx, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, XUV700, BE 6, and XEV 9e. Buyers should check the updated ex-showroom price of their chosen variant from July 10, 2026.

Mahindra Joins Other Carmakers in Raising Prices

Mahindra is one of several automakers to increase vehicle prices due to rising input costs. Recently, Kia India, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai Motor India also announced price hikes across their model ranges.

The increase comes as manufacturers face higher costs for steel, plastics, and other raw materials, along with rising production expenses. More carmakers could revise prices if these costs continue to increase.
