Car Junction's Take
Hyundai’s introduction of the Lounge Edition highlights an emerging trend where mass-market SUV buyers prioritize rear-seat luxury over passenger capacity. Converting the Alcazar into a dedicated 5-seater creates a strong value proposition for buyers seeking executive legroom without jumping to higher price brackets. By offering back-seat entertainment screens and custom upholstery, Hyundai targets chauffeur-driven urban commuters while maintaining full OEM warranty coverage.
Alongside its latest Lounge Edition range, Hyundai is also accelerating EV adoption through its Delhi EV charging network expansion making electric mobility more accessible.
