Toyota Unveils Urban Cruiser Ebella: When Is It Coming?

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revealed its first fully electric vehicle, the Urban Cruiser Ebella. This launch marks Toyota’s entry into India’s electric passenger vehicle segment. The SUV is expected to launch in the coming weeks, with bookings already open at a token amount of ₹25,000.
Pricing and Variants Details
The Urban Cruiser Ebella will be available in three variants: E1, E2, and E3. Prices are expected to range between ₹19 lakh and ₹24 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the chosen variant and powertrain.
Battery, Warranty, and Colour Options
Toyota has announced an eight-year battery warranty, a 60% buyback guarantee, and a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) scheme for the EV. Customers can choose from nine colours, including five monotone shades: Sportin’ Red, Café White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, and Bluish Black.
There are four dual-tone options. These are Sportin’ Red, Café White, Enticing Silver, and Land Breeze Green, all with a Black roof. The Land Breeze Green is exclusive to the dual-tone palette.
Exterior Design and Charging Setup
In terms of design, the 2026 Urban Cruiser Ebella features LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps at the front, along with 18-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also gets rear door handles positioned behind the rear windows, along with prominent body cladding. These are complemented by a charging port mounted on the front fender.
Additional exterior elements include newly designed LED taillamps, a shark-fin antenna, reflectors integrated into the rear bumper, and faux skid plates.
Cabin Layout and Feature List
Inside the cabin, the electric SUV is finished in a dual-tone brown and black colour scheme. The interior houses a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and AC vents with silver-finished surrounds. The model is equipped with an electronic parking brake with auto-hold and an acoustic vehicle alert system.
Urban Cruiser Ebella also offers dual 10-inch digital screens, along with a sliding and reclining second row. The setup includes a height-adjustable driver’s seat, auto-dimming IRVM, adjustable steering, and 40:20:40 split rear seats.
