The 2026 Tata Tiago (ICE) has been spotted testing under heavy camouflage, signaling a third upgrade for the popular hatchback. This update comes as Tata Motors seeks to harmonize the entry-level ICE models design with its electric vehicle (EV) lineup. This facelift aims to inject modern visual appeal into the aging platform to keep it competitive against newer rivals.
The most prominent changes identified from the spy shots are at the front and rear. The facelifted Tiago is expected to adopt a sharper front fascia, featuring a slimmer grille and a redesigned bumper. This mimics the "New Forever" look of the Punch and Nexon. Notably, the test mules reveal a new headlight cluster, likely housing projector units with a revised LED DRL signature.
The interior is also expected to get further refinements, although the core layout was updated in early 2025. These include potential updates to the digital instrument cluster and a move toward the illuminated-logo two-spoke steering wheel. Mechanically, the vehicle is slated to retain its most trusted 1.2-litre Revotron engine, available in Petrol and iCNG options.
Key highlights of the spied 2026 Tiago Facelift:
The ICE version may not receive the "big-ticket" features like a sunroof seen on the EV test mules. However, the styling updates will provide a much-needed premium touch. Expected to launch by mid-2026, the Tiago facelift will serve as a modern, value-driven experience. This is especially for buyers looking for a safe and stylish city car without the premium cost of an electric powertrain.
