Tata Punch Facelift Variants Revealed Ahead of Launch on January 13

Tata Motors is gearing up to announce prices of the Punch facelift on 13 January 2026. Ahead of the official pricing, the company has revealed the full variant lineup and key features of the updated micro SUV. With improved design, more features, and a new turbo-petrol engine, the Punch facelift aims to strengthen its position in a highly competitive segment.
Six Variants on Offer with More Features
The updated Tata Punch will be offered in six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S. Compared to the outgoing model, the facelift brings a wider feature list across variants. In addition, Tata has focused on improving comfort, safety, and technology, which makes the Punch more appealing to urban buyers.
Design updates have already been revealed, and now the feature list confirms that the Punch facelift moves closer to larger SUVs in terms of equipment. However, Tata has ensured that each variant offers a clear step up from the previous one.

Turbo-Petrol Engine Joins the Line-up
The biggest highlight in terms of engine options might just be the launch of a turbo-petrol engine. This latest engine will allow for better performance than the current engine. The engine will reportedly come with a six-speed manual transmission only in the flagship models. But the engine’s specifications have not yet been disclosed by Tata.
Expected Rivals and Market Position
After the launch, the Tata Punch facelift will continue to compete with other SUV models such as the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Citroen C3, Toyota Taisor, and Maruti Suzuki Fronx. With these added features, it can be said that the Punch facelift offers a small car with large car features.
