
Renault India has officially announced that the new-generation Duster will be launched on March 17, 2026. After its initial unveiling on Republic Day, the French automaker has now opened pre-bookings. For this, a token amount of Rs. 21,000 has been set for reserving the SUV car. The brand aims to acquire the market by launching its flagship model again, after discontinuing it in 2022.
The exterior resembles a rough-and-tough view combined with "eyebrow-style" LED DRLs and functional roof rails. The types are equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin gets premium digital experience, incorporating a 10.1-inch touchscreen system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.

Standard and Safety Highlights:
Renault is offering a diverse range of petrol-only engines, including a strong-hybrid variant designed for higher fuel efficiency.

The reintroduction of the Duster is a strategic move for Renault to regain its footing in the Indian SUV market. For this, the new model will now compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. Industry analysts expect an aggressive starting price of approximately Rs. 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
