MINI Cooper Oxford Edition Pre-Bookings Open With British-Themed Design

MINI India has opened pre-launch bookings for the Cooper Oxford Edition, a limited-edition version of the MINI Cooper S. The special edition brings a stronger British identity through Union Jack graphics, exclusive cabin details and additional premium equipment. Bookings are now open through authorised MINI dealerships, while the car will be sold in limited numbers.

The Oxford Edition is positioned as a more distinctive version of the Cooper rather than a mechanical upgrade. It retains the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 204 hp and 300 Nm, with a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds.

MINI Cooper Oxford Edition Celebrates Oxford Heritage

The biggest change is the Oxford Edition’s exterior design. Instead of limiting the British theme to a single badge, MINI has spread the Union Jack motif across several parts of the car. The contrast roof gets a Union Jack graphic, while matching graphics are also added to the bonnet and boot.

The special edition further gets a Union Jack boot sticker, Union Jack valve caps and steering wheel badge, along with Oxford hub caps. It rides on 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone wheels, while the available exterior colours include Indigo Sunset Blue, Chilli Red and Glazed White.

More Than Just Exterior Styling

MINI has also added several Oxford Edition-specific details inside the cabin. These include Oxford floor mats, Oxford door entry sills and a Union Jack key cap. The car also gets JCW Sport Seats finished in Black Vescin upholstery, a Favoured Beige/Grey knitted dashboard and Vibrant Silver exterior and interior garnishes.

Another notable addition is a unique digital Personal Mode background, extending the Oxford theme to the MINI’s digital interface. This gives the special edition a more comprehensive identity instead of relying only on exterior graphics.

Bookings Open Through MINI Dealerships

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition will be available in limited quantities, with pre-launch bookings now open through authorised MINI dealerships. MINI currently has 18 sales touchpoints across 17 cities in India.

Its aftersales support is integrated with the wider BMW Group India network, with MINI service available at 51 touchpoints across 36 cities. This gives customers access to a considerably broader service network than MINI’s dedicated sales footprint.

Price and Availability Details

MINI has not yet announced the price or complete equipment list of the Cooper Oxford Edition in India. The company has stated that further details about the car’s exterior, interior, highlights and features will be available through MINI India.

Since the edition is being offered in limited quantities, bookings could be particularly relevant for customers looking for a more exclusive version of the Cooper S.
