SUVs and Long Wheelbase Models Remain Popular

Long wheelbase models also performed well. BMW delivered 4,428 long wheelbase vehicles during the same period. Sales in this category increased by 24% and contributed 52% of passenger vehicle sales.

MINI and BMW Motorrad Report Healthy Performance

MINI delivered 504 vehicles during the first half of 2026. The brand registered an impressive 70% year on year growth. The recently launched MINI Countryman C received a strong customer response. Meanwhile, limited edition MINI models sold out quickly.

BMW Motorrad also delivered 2,327 motorcycles during H1 2026. Popular models included the S 1000 RR, F 900 GS, and R 1300 GS. Furthermore, deliveries of the new F 450 GS started in June.

More Product Launches Planned

BMW introduced 11 new products during the first half of 2026 across its BMW, MINI, and Motorrad brands. The company now plans to launch another 14 products before the end of the year. With strong EV demand, growing SUV sales, and an expanding product lineup, BMW Group India looks well-positioned to maintain its growth momentum in the luxury vehicle segment.
