Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift Spotted with Updated Interior Ahead of Launch
Google News

Mahindra is expected to unveil the updated Scorpio-N on August 14, 2026, continuing its tradition of introducing major products around Independence Day. The latest undisguised spy images reveal the SUV's production-ready interior, giving a clear look at several new features before its official debut. While the exterior is expected to receive only minor styling updates, the cabin gets noticeable technology and comfort upgrades.
Interior Gets Major Technology Upgrades
The biggest changes can be seen inside the cabin, where Mahindra has focused on improving the overall driving experience. The facelifted Scorpio-N is expected to borrow several interior elements from the Thar Roxx, making the cabin look more modern.
Expected interior highlights include:
- New 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster
- Larger panoramic sunroof
- Redesigned climate control switchgear with toggle-style buttons
- Horizontal centre AC vents
- Physical controls retained for easier operation while driving
- Familiar gear lever, electronic parking brake, cupholders, and tan interior theme
The new digital instrument cluster replaces the current semi-digital unit and is expected to display vehicle information in a redesigned interface. Mahindra has also kept physical buttons for important functions, making the cabin easy to use on the move.
More Features Likely on Higher Variants
Along with the updated cabin, Mahindra is expected to introduce several new convenience and safety features. These additions will help bring the Scorpio-N closer to newer Mahindra SUVs such as the Thar Roxx and XUV 7XO.
Expected feature additions include:
- 360-degree camera
- Ventilated front seats
- Upgraded sound system
- More connected car features
- Level 2 ADAS on higher variants
On the outside, the facelift is expected to receive a revised front grille, updated bumper, new lighting elements, and fresh alloy wheel designs. Rear styling changes are likely to remain minimal, with the overall SUV design staying familiar.

Engine Options Expected to Remain Unchanged
Mahindra is not expected to make any mechanical changes with the facelift. The updated Scorpio-N will likely continue with the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Both six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options are expected to continue, along with four-wheel-drive variants on selected trims.
The current Scorpio-N already received important upgrades in 2025, including Level 2 ADAS, the Z8T variant, powered and ventilated front seats, a Sony audio system, a front camera, and an electronic parking brake. The upcoming facelift is expected to build on those updates by adding a more premium cabin and improved technology, while keeping prices close to the current model.
