Mahindra Scorpio is the iconic SUV in India that is made to be powerful and spacious. It still has the original Scorpio DNA and a bold stance, high ground clearance of 209mm and solid build quality.
Scorpio Classic was initially introduced in 2002 in India. This car is mounted on a ladder-frame chassis that makes it suitable for bad roads and even length journeys on long highways. According to the real world conditions of driving and reports given by its owners, the diesel manual Scorpio has 15 kmpl mileage. Other than this, the SUV has a 60 litre fuel tank that provides long driving range, which is applicable for highway usage.
The Scorpio Classic is equipped with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and sends power to the rear wheels.

Scorpio Classic has 460 litres boot with the third row folded. With all three rows in use, the space is limited for the boot, which is to be expected in ladder-frame SUVs.
The Scorpio has a versatile and large cabin that is able to comfortably seat the occupants on long drives. The upright sitting position gives good visibility and the second row bench is good in legroom. It has roof mounted ac vents so that it can cool effectively and you can opt for 7 seater and 9 seater, depending on the variant.
