Citroën Adds New AircrossX and BasaltX Variants, ë-C3X Gets 330 Km Range

Citroën India has introduced new AircrossX and BasaltX variants, along with the ë-C3X extended, today. The models are available nationwide from September 7, 2026. 

The updates have arrived ahead of the festive season, giving buyers more powertrain and feature choices. The ë-C3X extended also gets a certified 330 km range. Citroën has introduced these updates to meet different needs, including family use, performance, comfort and electric mobility.

New Citroën AircrossX and BasaltX Variants

The new AircrossX and BasaltX variants add more choices across petrol, turbo and CNG powertrains.

The YOU Turbo variants target buyers who want stronger performance for city and highway driving. The MAX Naturally Aspirated variants focus on comfort and convenience.

• AircrossX YOU Turbo Comfort Edition: Rs 10.69 lakh
• AircrossX MAX NA: Rs 11.62 lakh
• BasaltX YOU Turbo: Rs 9.99 lakh
• BasaltX MAX NA: Rs 11.34 lakh
• NA variants are available with petrol and CNG options.

Citroën ë-C3X EXTENDED Gets 330 Km Range

Citroën has also updated the ë-C3X with an extended range version. The ë-C3X extended now offers a 330 km MIDC-I/II certified range.

The company says efficiency improvements help the electric vehicle use energy more effectively. This update could offer buyers greater confidence during regular city travel and longer trips.

The ë-C3X extended is offered with BaaS pricing starting at Rs 6.99 lakh, plus a battery charge of Rs 2.26 per km.

Finance Scheme and Rivals

Citroën is also offering a step up finance scheme with loan tenure of up to seven years. The first year EMI starts at Rs 9,999 for BasaltX and Rs 10,555 for AircrossX.

These figures apply during the first year and assume around 20% down payment. The scheme is available through select banking partners.

The BasaltX competes with models such as the Tata Curvv, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet. The AircrossX targets buyers considering SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Citroën's latest updates give buyers more choices across pricing, powertrains and electric mobility. The new variants also arrive during India's festive buying season.

The ë-C3X extended adds a higher certified range, while the new SUVs offer petrol and CNG choices.
