Citroen eC3X Electric Hatchback Teased Again Before Official Debut
Google News

Citroen has released another teaser of the upcoming Citroen eC3X ahead of its expected launch in the coming weeks. The electric hatchback has already been teased before, but the latest image reveals a few additional details about the updated model.
The refreshed model is expected to adopt the "X" suffix as part of Citroen's revised naming strategy. It has already been introduced across models such as the C3X, Aircross X, and Basalt X. Along with the new name, the eC3X is expected to receive a range of cosmetic and feature upgrades while retaining its existing electric powertrain.
Exterior and Cabin Updates Expected
The latest teaser offers a glimpse of the rear section and confirms the addition of a rear wiper, a feature that was missing on the outgoing Citroen eC3. The image also hints at a new blue paint shade, while reports suggest the updated model could receive revised bumpers, LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, and new alloy wheel designs.
Inside the cabin, Citroen is expected to introduce better-quality materials and additional features. Expected highlights include automatic climate control, cruise control with a speed limiter, an auto-dimming IRVM, ambient lighting, and a leatherette-finished steering wheel. Higher variants could also offer a 360-degree camera and a new fully digital instrument cluster.
Battery and Range to Remain Unchanged
Mechanically, the eC3X is expected to continue with the existing 29.2 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 56 bhp and 143 Nm of torque. The electric hatchback is also expected to retain its claimed driving range of around 320 km on a single charge.
Pricing details are yet to be announced, although the updated model could command a slight premium over the current eC3. Once launched, the eC3X will continue to rival the Tata Punch EV and Tiago EV in India's affordable electric vehicle segment.
Latest Teaser Hints at Imminent Launch
Citroen has been steadily revealing details of the updated electric hatchback through multiple teasers over the last few weeks. The latest teaser does not reveal the entire vehicle but further confirms that the launch is likely to take place soon.
Apart from the new rear wiper, the teaser suggests that the overall design will remain familiar, with Citroen focusing on feature additions and subtle styling enhancements rather than a complete redesign.
