Citroen eC3X Launched in India at ₹10.25 Lakh

Citroen has officially launched the updated eC3X in India after recently teasing the model just a day earlier. Prices start at ₹10.25 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Battery-as-a-Service option brings the entry cost down to ₹6.29 lakh with a per-km battery rental plan. The EV gets design updates, added features, and continues with the same electric powertrain setup.

Design Updates and New Features in the eC3X

The updated eC3X comes with a refreshed look and several new features to make it more modern. It gets styling changes on the outside along with improved cabin tech and comfort features inside.

• Redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels and updated bumpers with skid plate detailing
• Colour options like Polar White, Cosmo Blue, Garnet Red, and Steel Grey
• Dual-tone cabin design with leatherette seat upholstery
• 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with digital driver display
• Wireless connectivity and connected car features for added convenience

Battery, Performance and Charging Details

The updated eC3X continues to use a 29.2 kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor producing around 56-57 bhp and 143 Nm of torque. It now delivers a claimed driving range of up to 325 km on a single charge, which is an increase of 79 km over the previous version. For charging, it supports DC fast charging, which can take the battery from 10% to 80% in about 57 minutes.

Citroen has positioned the eC3X as an updated and more feature-rich version of its entry-level electric hatchback. With refreshed styling, added comfort features, and the same proven electric setup, it aims to attract urban EV buyers. The launch also strengthens Citroen’s presence in India’s growing affordable EV segment.
