Isuzu Motors India has launched the updated 2026 D-Max V-Cross pickup truck in India. The new model comes with revised styling, added features, and mechanical updates. The lifestyle pickup now starts at Rs 25.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
According to recent auto industry reports, the update also removes the earlier 4x2 option, and therefore all variants now come with a standard 4x4 drivetrain. In addition, the refreshed model continues to rival premium pickup trucks in India while offering more equipment and improved off-road capability. Prices now go up to Rs 30.28 lakh depending on the selected variant.
2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Price Details
The discontinuation of the 4x2 variant has increased the entry price of the pickup by Rs 1.23 lakh. Earlier, the 4x2 version served as the most affordable option in the lineup. However, buyers now receive a standard 4x4 setup across the range.
Variant-Wise Prices (Ex-Showroom, India)
- Z Standard 4x4 MT – Rs 25.50 lakh
- Z Premium 4x4 MT – Rs 25.79 lakh
- Z Prestige Standard 4x4 MT – Rs 27.00 lakh
- Z Prestige Standard 4x4 AT – Rs 30.00 lakh
- Z Prestige Premium 4x4 MT – Rs 27.28 lakh
- Z Prestige Premium 4x4 AT – Rs 30.28 lakh
In addition, the top automatic variant now costs Rs 63,000 more compared to the previous model year.
Exterior Design Changes
The 2026 update introduces subtle styling revisions instead of a complete redesign. The Z Prestige variant now features a grille with black surrounds, giving the pickup a sportier appearance. Moreover, the front bumper receives more body-coloured elements, replacing the earlier heavy cladding.
Along the sides, the wheel-arch cladding has been removed, which creates a cleaner profile. The Z Prestige trims also receive newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a 12-spoke pattern. On the other hand, the Z Standard variant continues with 16-inch steel wheels.
At the rear, the chrome trim on the bumper has been replaced with gloss black finishing. Slim LED indicators integrated into the ORVMs further refresh the overall look.
Interior and Feature Updates
Inside the cabin, the updated pickup gains new technology and improved materials. The higher Z Prestige trims now come with a larger 10.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making connectivity easier for daily use.
In addition, the pickup now offers a 360-degree camera, which helps drivers during parking and low-speed manoeuvres. The sound system includes up to eight speakers for enhanced audio quality.
Brown leatherette inserts on the dashboard and door panels add a fresh visual touch, and the cabin now feels more premium compared to the earlier version.
Engine and Powertrain Updates
The D-Max V-Cross continues with the same 1.9-litre diesel engine that produces 163 hp and 360 Nm torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
However, a key update comes in the drivetrain setup. The pickup now comes only with a 4x4 configuration. In addition, Isuzu has introduced an auto-locking differential as standard across all variants, which helps improve traction during off-road driving and challenging road conditions.
