Volkswagen India is preparing for the official debut of the Taigun facelift on April 9, 2026. This mid-life update arrives as the SUV enters its fifth year. With this, it aims to compete against Hyundai Creta and Skoda Kushaq. The latest digital renderings, based on production-ready test mules, suggest a move toward a more "global" Volkswagen look.
While Taigun is in its way of facelift, the recent Skoda Kushaq Facelift may give some more insights.
The 2026 model leaves the current "boxy" front-end for a smoother, more aerodynamic aesthetic inspired by the new Tiguan R-Line. Key specifications include:
While the engine remains the same, a significant change is expected in how the entry-level power is delivered to the wheels.
