Tesla Opens Chennai Experience Center, Collision Center in Poonamallee

Tesla India has expanded its presence in Tamil Nadu with a new Experience Center at Chennai’s Express Avenue Mall and a Tesla-Approved Collision Center in Poonamallee. The new facilities allow customers across Chennai and Tamil Nadu to experience, order and take delivery of Tesla vehicles locally.

Chennai Gets Tesla Experience Center

The new Tesla Experience Center is located at Express Avenue Mall on Pattullos Road. It provides local consultation, test drives and vehicle delivery support.

The center also brings Tesla’s retail and after-sales services closer to customers in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu.

Poonamallee Adds Collision Services

Tesla has also introduced collision repair and service capabilities through its Tesla-Approved Collision Center in Poonamallee. The facility provides genuine Tesla parts, professionally trained technicians and software-aware diagnostics. Collision repairs and bodywork are carried out using Tesla-approved processes and standards.

The expansion is aimed at reducing downtime while supporting vehicle safety, performance and resale value. Customers also have access to country-wide service and warranty coverage.

Model Y Premium RWD Priced at Rs. 50.89 Lakh

The 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive offers 2,138 litres of storage space and seating for up to five passengers. It also gets power-folding seats for added luggage flexibility. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and delivers a range of up to 500 km under WLTP testing.

The Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at Rs. 50,89,000 in India. Tesla offers it with a Rs. 6,00,000 down payment and monthly EMI starting at Rs. 39,990.

Model Y L Gets Three-Row Seating

An all-wheel-drive SUV, the Model Y L comes with three rows and six seats. Its cabin maximises headroom, legroom and passenger comfort. The model offers up to 681 km of WLTP range and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds. It provides cargo capacity of up to 2,539 litres.

Priced from Rs. 61,99,000 in India, the Model Y L is available with a Rs. 6,50,000 down payment. Monthly EMI starts at Rs. 49,990. 

OTA Updates Bring Grok

Both Tesla models receive new features and capability improvements through over-the-air updates. The vehicles also provide access to Grok, Tesla’s intelligent AI assistant.

Grok is available in multiple Indian languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu and Kannada.
