The new turbo-petrol version is priced from ₹7.84 lakh to ₹8.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in Evolution, Techno and Emotion variants. It combines the Triber's existing 5, 6 and 7-seat flexibility with a new turbocharged engine and a comprehensively updated engineering package.
The new 1.0-litre TCe 100 turbo petrol engine produces 100 PS and 180 Nm of torque, making it one of the stronger petrol powertrains in its segment. Renault also claims a certified fuel efficiency of 21 kmpl. The Triber 100PS continues with a sub-4-metre footprint and benefits from the GST rate applicable to small petrol cars.

|
Evolution |
₹7.84 lakh |

For reference, the standard Triber with the Energy petrol engine is priced between ₹5.80 lakh and ₹8.05 lakh, depending on the variant. The Energy engine is also available with an AMT in the Emotion variant at ₹8.53 lakh.
Triber 100PS Gets New Turbo Engine
The main change in the new Triber is its TCe 100 turbocharged petrol engine. It develops 100 PS and 180 Nm, with Renault focusing on stronger acceleration and improved drivability across different road conditions.
The engine is paired with a new Renault Engine Management System (R-EMS). The system has been developed to manage the engine's performance and efficiency while working with the updated thermal-management package.
Renault has also equipped the Triber 100PS with a Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) cooling fan. This system allows more precise control of engine cooling and is intended to improve thermal efficiency and overall powertrain performance.
Renault Triber 100PS Uses New RGEP Architecture
The Triber 100PS is the first Renault India vehicle to use the Renault Group Entry Platform (RGEP). The architecture has been developed to support different powertrain options and future regulatory requirements.
However, the new model is not limited to an engine upgrade. Renault has made changes to several areas of the vehicle, including its chassis, structure, thermal systems and vehicle dynamics.
The updated engineering package includes:
- New Renault Engine Management System (R-EMS)
- Revised thermal-management architecture
- Structural upgrades for durability and crash performance
- Revised suspension geometry
- Front and rear anti-roll bars
- MTV Damper Technology
- Updated braking calibration
- Vehicle dynamics tuning for Indian road conditions
Renault says these changes are intended to provide better stability and control while retaining the everyday usability of the Triber.
Triber 100PS Retains 5, 6 and 7-Seat Layout
Despite the engineering changes, the Triber's modular seating arrangement remains a key part of the package. The MPV can be configured to carry five, six or seven occupants.
It continues to feature Easy-Fix third-row seats, while the second row gets slide-and-recline functionality and one-touch tumble access. The cabin supports more than 100 seating combinations for different passenger and luggage requirements.
With five seats in place, the Triber offers an expandable boot capacity of 625 litres. It also gets 182 mm of ground clearance, 23 litres of interior storage and roof rails with a load-carrying capacity of up to 50 kg. The sub-4-metre length and 1.0-litre petrol engine also allow the Triber 100PS to qualify for the 18% GST rate applicable to small petrol cars. More than 2.5 lakh Triber units have been sold in India so far.
Triber 100PS Features and Safety
The new Triber gets a range of comfort, convenience and technology features, depending on the variant.
Key equipment includes an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital LED instrument cluster, automatic air-conditioning, cruise control, wireless charging, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
It also gets a Smart Access Card, push-button start/stop and independent rear air-conditioning with vents for the second and third rows. On the safety front, six airbags and 21 safety features are standard. Higher variants can also be equipped with front parking sensors, a rear parking camera with guidelines and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Renault Triber 100PS Launch: What Renault Says
Commenting on the launch, Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Renault India, said:
“The Triber 100PS is an important step in Renault India’s product roadmap and a strong expression of what our brand stands for: innovation that is practical, accessible and relevant to Indian customers. Following the recent introductions of the Kwid and Duster Adventure, it marks another milestone in our programme of 12 product interventions over 18 months, demonstrating the pace and intent behind Renault’s renewed momentum in India.
With 100 PS of power, 180 Nm of torque, flexible seven-seat modularity, certified fuel efficiency of 21 km/l and prices starting at ₹7.84 lakh, the Triber 100PS brings together the qualities Indian families value in one car: performance that gives confidence, practicality, efficiency and value. We believe it will strengthen the Triber’s position and broaden the appeal of the Renault brand.”
Dr. Vikraman Vellandi, Head - Renault Engineering, Renault Group India, said:
“Developing the Triber 100PS required much more than integrating a new powertrain. Delivering 100 PS and 180 Nm of torque while retaining the Triber’s modularity, comfort and efficiency required the engine, thermal-management, structural, suspension, braking and vehicle-dynamics systems to work together as one package. The result is a responsive, stable and refined driving experience that preserves the practicality and accessibility customers value in the Triber.”
Supporting Renault futuready India Strategy
The Triber 100PS is also part of Renault India's “futuREady India” roadmap. The strategy focuses on bringing new products, updated architectures and globally developed technologies to the Indian market.
The company has planned 12 product interventions over 18 months, with the Triber 100PS following the recent introduction of the Kwid and Duster Adventure. As the first Renault India product based on the RGEP architecture, the Triber 100PS also provides the foundation for Renault's future product and powertrain plans in India.
