Punch EV Facelift Deliveries to Commence from February-End

Tata Motors has officially confirmed that the delivery of the recently launched Punch EV Facelift will begin by Feb-End. This announcement came after the reveal of updated pricing, which was initially set at Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is also offered under BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme, which substantially reduced the price to Rs. 6.49 lakh.

Technical Specifications and Pricing Structure

The 2026 facelift features many notable updates from the previous version, primarily in power supply. Punch EV is now equipped with larger 30kWh and 40kWh battery packs. The 40kWh one offers a longer C75-claimed range of 468 km, certified by ARAI. It also supports faster DC charging, which can easily add 135 kms in nearly 15 minutes of charging.

Key updates include:

  • Enhanced Performance: The electric motor now produces up to 127bhp and 154Nm of torque.
  • Revised Interior: For comfort, ventilation has been provided in the front seats and a new HVAC control panel. A 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment with wireless smartphone connectivity.
  • Safety Standards: The model maintains high safety expectations with six airbags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), standardized in all variants.
  • BaaS Program: Customers can opt for a lower upfront cost, paying a battery rental fee of approximately Rs. 2.6 per km.
