Maruti Suzuki Vehicle Sales Rise 37% to 1.82 Lakh Units in September 2026

Maruti Suzuki has released its sales report for September 2026, recording strong growth in domestic passenger vehicle sales. The company sold 181,838 passenger vehicles in the domestic market during the month, up 36.91% from 132,820 units sold in September 2025.

The company’s passenger vehicle sales include cars, utility vehicles and vans. Utility vehicle sales recorded the highest growth among the three categories, while exports also increased during the month.

Maruti Suzuki September 2026 Sales

Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 2,32,599 units in September 2026, up 24.54% from 1,86,774 units in the same month last year. Domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 1,81,838 units, registering 36.91% growth and driving the overall increase.

Passenger car sales stood at 91,887 units, up 24.02%, with models such as Alto, Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Swift and WagonR. Utility vehicle sales reached 78,911 units, growing 62.05%, with Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Victoris, e Vitara and XL6. Exports also grew 4.77% to 44,219 units, while sales to other OEMs declined 44.32%.

Maruti Suzuki H1 FY2026-27 Sales

For the April to September 2026 period, Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 13,59,358 units across domestic passenger vehicles, OEM sales and exports. This was 28.02% higher than 10,61,768 units sold during the same period of FY2025-26.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 10,80,240 units, growing 35.80% over the previous year. Exports also increased by 12.24% to 2,32,855 units, while sales to other OEMs declined 21.41% to 46,263 units.
