Mahindra XEV 9S Six-Seater Launched At Rs 25.25 Lakh

Mahindra has launched a new six-seater version of the XEV 9S with second-row captain seats. The new seating option is priced from Rs 25.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and is aimed at buyers looking for more space in the second row. It is offered alongside the existing seven-seat version in the XEV 9S range.

The six-seat option is available with the Pack Two Above, Pack Three and Pack Three Above variants. The base Pack One Above continues with the standard seven-seat layout.

Mahindra XEV 9S Gets Captain Seats

The new six-seater version replaces the second-row bench with two individual captain seats. A centre console with armrests and cupholders is placed between the seats, while rear passengers also get dedicated AC vents and USB charging ports.

The XEV 9S continues with features such as a panoramic glass roof, a large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. It also gets ventilated and powered front seats, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting and ADAS.

Same Battery Options And Range

The XEV 9S continues with 59kWh and 79kWh battery options. The smaller battery produces 228bhp and offers a claimed range of 521km, while the larger battery produces 281bhp and has a claimed range of 679km.

Both battery options support DC fast charging and use Mahindra's INGLO electric platform. There are no changes to the powertrain with the introduction of the six-seat configuration.
