Mahindra BE6 Formula E Freedom Edition Launched at ₹24.45 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the BE6 Formula E Freedom Edition in India at a starting price of ₹24.45 lakh (ex-showroom, excluding charger). The new electric SUV is available in Two variants, Three and Four, and both get the larger 79 kWh battery pack. Bookings are now open, while deliveries will begin on 26 August 2026.

The BE6 Formula E Freedom Edition Three costs ₹24.45 lakh, while the Four variant costs ₹26.95 lakh. The 79 kWh battery offers a claimed range of 683 km on a single charge. In addition, the battery works with a single rear-wheel-drive motor that produces around 281 bhp and 380 Nm of torque.

Mahindra BE6 Formula E Freedom Edition: What’s New?

Mahindra has introduced the Formula E Freedom Edition as part of the updated BE6 Sporteq range. The company recently launched the BE6 Sporteq with new technology, colour options and a new 70 kWh battery option. The Sporteq range starts at ₹19.45 lakh, while its top variants go up to ₹26.95 lakh.

However, the Formula E Freedom Edition takes a different approach. Unlike the higher Sporteq variants, it retains the halo-style dashboard with two 12.3-inch screens instead of the new three-screen layout.

Mahindra BE6 Formula E Freedom Edition Features

The new edition does not bring major exterior design changes. However, it gets four colour options, including the new Rosso Impulso shade. Other colour options include Everest White, Firestorm Orange and Stealth Black.

Inside, the SUV gets a black and Firestorm Orange theme. Key features across the Formula E variants include an infinity roof, LED DRL animation, powered driver’s seat with memory, adaptive suspension, carpet lamps and virtual engine sounds.

The top-spec Four variant adds more technology. It gets Gemini support, live HUD, auto parking, Level 2 ADAS, knee airbag, button start and Capsense virtual engine sound.
