Kia India Sales Rise 41% to 32,017 Units in September 2026

Kia India recorded its highest-ever monthly wholesale sales in September 2026, with 32,017 units sold during the month. The company registered strong year-on-year growth, while September sales also remained higher than the previous month. Its latest monthly performance comes as Kia continues to expand its presence across multiple vehicle segments.

Kia Records Highest-Ever Monthly Sales

Kia India recorded a 41% year-on-year increase in September 2026, compared with 22,700 units sold during the same month last year. This performance marks the company’s highest-ever monthly wholesale sales since entering the Indian market. The Seltos and Sonet remained important contributors to the company’s monthly volumes.

September Sales Improve Over August

Kia India also recorded higher sales compared with the previous month. The company sold 32,017 units in September 2026, compared with 29,042 units in August, resulting in a 10.24% month-on-month increase. The brand's September sales were 2,975 units higher than the August volume, marking another monthly improvement for the company.

Kia India Sales Cross 2.50 Lakh in 2026

Kia India recorded 2,53,008 units in sales from January to September 2026, compared with 2,06,582 units during the same period last year. This represents a 22.5% year-on-year increase in cumulative sales. The company also recorded 89,259 units during Q3 2026, compared with 64,443 units in Q3 2025, registering 38.5% growth for the quarter.

Kia Expands Its SUV And EV Portfolio

“Kia India continues to expand its range with models such as the Seltos, Sonet, Carens, Carens Clavis and Syros EV. Its electric portfolio also includes the Carens Clavis EV, EV6 and EV9.

The Carens and Carens Clavis are available with CNG powertrains, while the Sorento is offered with diesel and hybrid options. Kia also provides an Assured Buyback programme, Battery-as-a-Service and a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty for its EV range.
