Jeep India Relaunches Wrangler Willys 41 Limited Edition
Google News

Jeep India has once again reintroduced its Wrangler Willys 41 Limited Edition in the domestic market. The initial launch was of its Rubicon Variant in 2025 where a 41-units lot was sold in just a week. This time also, the company intends to repeat the same with a 2.0 version. Selling at a premium price of Rs. 70.31 lakh (ex-showroom), this 2.0 version is a very exclusive product. The model is a heritage-inspired tribute to the 1941 Willys MB that combines military-inspired looks with present-day Rubicon off-road ability.
Premier Improvement and Heritage Design
Wrangler Willys 41 is positioned as the upscale alternative to the mechanical Rubicon with the price exceeding Rs. 2 lakh. Although the mechanical base is similar to its previous version, this limited edition is more about functional and cosmetic exclusivity.
Notable additions to the standard equipment list include motorized side steps for improved ingress and a digital video recorder (DVR). Jeep is also offering a curated accessory package for an additional Rs. 3.60 lakh. This will add a Sunrider soft-top, a roof carrier and an integrated side ladder, making the vehicle profile further stand-out.

Market Strategy and Legacy Branding
The relaunch emphasizes Jeep’s tribute to its historical heritage and creating demand in the niche luxury segment of the off-roader. Kumar Priyesh, who is the Business Head at Stellantis India, asserted:
“The Willys legacy is more than a story -- it is the foundation of Jeep's character. The Wrangler Willys 41 2.0 is our tribute to that heritage. It reflects the spirit of the original 1941 Willys MB, while delivering the capability, authenticity, and emotional connection that Jeep owners value deeply, blending timeless Willys cues with contemporary engineering to deliver capability, exclusivity, and character in equal measure.”
The strategy can be understood with the following highlights:
- Limited Availability: Sales are restricted to Jeep’s authorized dealerships across India for a brief window.
- High Demand: The previous 2025 lot of 41 units was exhausted within seven days, prompting this second release.
- Customization: Buyers can opt for specific military-styled cues and rugged hardware via the optional "Sunrider" kit.
The return of the Willys 41 puts light on the growing demand for premium vehicles in Indian markets. By combining the heritage element with limited numbers makes the vibe even more profound. Given the previous batch's performance, industry analysts expect these 41 units to be claimed swiftly.
