Volvo EX90 India Debut Confirmed for 18 August 2026

Volvo has confirmed the India debut of the new EX90 electric SUV. The flagship EV will launch on 18 August 2026. Moreover, it will become Volvo's third electric model in India after the EC40 and EX30. The EX90 also brings advanced safety, premium features, and a long claimed driving range.

Modern Design With Signature Volvo Styling

The Volvo EX90 follows the brand's familiar design language with several fresh updates. At the front, the SUV gets Thor's Hammer LED daytime running lights and vertically stacked LED headlamps. In addition, it features a closed front grille with the Volvo logo and stylish 20 inch alloy wheels.

The rear receives C shaped LED tail lamps, Volvo lettering, an integrated spoiler, and additional vertical lighting elements. Overall, the design looks modern while maintaining Volvo's premium identity.

Premium Cabin Packed With Technology

Inside, the EX90 offers a feature rich and spacious cabin. Key highlights include:

Globally, Volvo also offers the EX90 in four, six, and seven seat layouts.

Two Battery Options Available Globally

Internationally, the EX90 comes with two battery pack choices. The 92 kWh battery produces 333 bhp and 480 Nm of torque. It delivers a claimed driving range of 565 km on a single charge.

Meanwhile, the larger 106 kWh battery develops 680 bhp and 780 Nm of torque. Volvo claims this version can travel up to 608 km on a single charge. Both battery packs are available with different motor configurations in global markets. The company has not yet confirmed which version will arrive in India.
