Toyota Introduces Hyryder Aero Black Edition With New Styling

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition in India as a limited-period styling package. The new edition adds black exterior detailing to the SUV while retaining its existing mechanical setup.

The Aero Black styling package is priced at ₹31,999 and is available on the Midnight Black G and V grades with both Neo Drive and strong hybrid powertrains. It will be offered only for a limited period, subject to stock availability.

Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition: What Changes?

The special edition brings a set of black exterior accessories rather than changes to the SUV's core design. The package includes a black front grille upper garnish, front spoiler, headlamp garnish, tailgate garnish and rear spoiler.

An exclusive Aero Black badge is also added to the exterior. Toyota is additionally offering an All Black Package through dealerships for customers who want further black-themed customisation, although it comes at an extra cost.

No Changes to the Powertrain

Toyota has retained the Hyryder's existing powertrain lineup for the Aero Black Edition. The Neo Drive version uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine and can be specified with manual or automatic transmission.

The Neo Drive range also offers 2WD and 4WD configurations, while the strong hybrid uses an e-Drive transmission. The strong hybrid version is claimed to deliver fuel efficiency of up to 27.97kmpl.

Equipment Includes Hybrid and Convenience Features

The Hyryder's equipment list includes features such as ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and wireless smartphone connectivity. Other available features include wireless charging, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera. The SUV also gets twin LED DRLs, a crystal acrylic grille and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Hyryder Crosses 2 Lakh Sales in India

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder was launched in India in 2022 and has now crossed two lakh units in cumulative sales, according to Toyota. The milestone comes as the SUV continues to be offered with both conventional petrol and strong hybrid powertrain choices. The Aero Black Edition therefore serves as a styling-focused addition to the existing range, with Toyota making no changes to the Hyryder's underlying mechanical package.
