Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the Toyota Glanza facelift in India on October 14, 2026, with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex showroom). The updated premium hatchback gets revised exterior styling, new features and additional safety technology.
It follows the launch of the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which shares its platform and powertrain. Buyers can choose from four variants, seven exterior colours and petrol or petrol CNG options. The updates focus on styling, cabin comfort and driver assistance features.
Toyota Glanza Facelift: Price and Variants
The Toyota Glanza facelift is available in four trims: E, S, G and V. Here are the key highlights of the facelifted Glanza:
- Starting price: Rs 6.99 lakh (ex showroom)
- Variants: E, S, G and V
- Colour options: Seven
- Powertrain choices: Petrol and petrol CNG
- Gearbox options: Manual and Automatic
Updated Design and New Features
The Toyota car brings changes mainly to the front and side profiles. The headlights remain unchanged, but the grille and front bumper receive updates. A glossy new side skirt adds a fresh touch to the side profile. The rear design remains largely unchanged.
The cabin also retains its existing layout but gains new equipment and updated upholstery.
New features include:
- 360 degree surround view camera
- Level 2 ADAS in the top variant
- Ventilated front seats
- Wireless charging dock
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Updated cabin upholstery and trims
These additions could improve everyday comfort and make parking easier in tight spaces. However, Level 2 ADAS is limited to the top end variant.
Engine, Gearbox and Colour Options
The Toyota Glanza facelift continues with the same 1.2 litre, three cylinder engine as the Baleno facelift. Buyers can choose petrol only or petrol CNG versions. Both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options are available, including AMT with petrol CNG.
The hatchback also gets an automatic start stop function, which shuts the engine off when the car stops under suitable conditions.
Toyota offers seven exterior colours: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Insta Blue, Sportin Red, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green. Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green are the new additions.
Rivals and What Buyers Should Know
The Glanza competes with premium hatchbacks such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
The facelift adds comfort and safety features, but buyers should compare variant wise prices before booking. The top variant may suit those who want ADAS, while lower trims could appeal to budget conscious buyers.
The Toyota Glanza facelift starts at Rs 6.99 lakh and brings styling changes, added comfort features and driver assistance technology. Buyers should check the final variant prices and feature availability with Toyota dealerships before making a decision.
Car Junction Insights
I think the Toyota Glanza facelift gets useful upgrades, especially the 360 degree camera, ventilated seats and ADAS. However, buyers may find the changes limited if they expect a major design makeover. The starting price is attractive, but the top variant's cost will determine whether these new features are worth the extra money.
