Tata Safari EV Triple-Screen Interior Spied
Google News

The upcoming Tata Safari EV has been spotted with a new triple-screen dashboard layout, giving a clear look at one of its major cabin updates. The spy shots show a passenger-side display placed alongside the central touchscreen and digital instrument cluster.
The new setup follows the triple-screen layout introduced with the Tata Sierra earlier this year. Safari EV is expected to share several electric powertrain and equipment options with the Harrier EV, while adding three-row seating.
Tata Safari EV Gets Triple-Screen Dashboard
The latest spy shots reveal an illuminated passenger-side screen inside the heavily camouflaged Safari EV. It sits next to the central touchscreen and digital instrument cluster, creating a three-screen dashboard layout.
The passenger display is expected to distinguish the Safari EV from the Harrier EV, which uses a two-screen dashboard. Also, the prototype retains the familiar Safari shape, including its upright rear section, roof rails and roof-mounted spoiler.
Expected Features And Equipment
Safari EV is expected to borrow several features from the Harrier EV. These could include a digital IRVM with dashcam functionality, a 540-degree camera system, ventilated front seats, JBL audio, Level-2 ADAS and auto park assist.
The SUV could also get vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle power-sharing functions. Its three-row seating will allow it to compete with other larger electric SUVs, including the Mahindra XEV 9S.
Battery Options And Expected Range
The Safari EV is expected to use the Harrier EV's 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery options. Rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor QWD configurations are also expected to be offered. The Harrier EV offers a certified range of 538 km with the 65 kWh battery, while the 75 kWh versions offer 627 km with RWD and 622 km with QWD.
Tata Safari EV Expected Price And Launch
The Safari EV could be positioned above the Harrier EV because of its three-row seating and additional equipment. Based on the current lineup, its estimated price could fall between Rs. 22 lakh and Rs. 32 lakh, ex-showroom, although Tata has not confirmed the pricing.
The electric SUV is expected to launch at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2027. It could give Tata a direct rival to electric three-row SUVs while expanding the Safari name into the EV segment.
Car Junction Insights
The triple-screen dashboard gives the Safari EV a noticeable cabin update and separates it from the Harrier EV. The combination of three-row seating and an electric powertrain could also make it a useful option for buyers looking for a larger EV. However, the final price, range and equipment list will determine how the Safari EV fits into Tata's growing electric SUV lineup.
With its triple-screen setup adding a futuristic touch, the Safari EV is among the upcoming electric cars in India in 2026 that could make a strong impact in the segment.
