Mahindra Scorpio N Global Pik Up Officially Teased Ahead of Debut
Google News

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially released teasers for the production-ready Global Pik Up. Based on the Scorpio N platform, the lifestyle pickup truck will make its global premiere on August 14. This unveiling comes nearly three years after the concept was first showcased at Mahindra's Futurescape event in Cape Town, South Africa.
Exterior Design and Cabin Details
The teaser images reveal that the production vehicle retains several core styling cues from the Scorpio N SUV. But, it also gets a significantly revised body structure toward the rear to accommodate its dual-cab layout and cargo bed.
- Front Fascia: Features a revised, wider front grille adorned with Mahindra's twin-peak logo, flanked by new vertically stacked LED lighting elements and slim daytime running lights.
- Side Profile: Showcases a four-door double-cab silhouette, prominent wheel arches, roof rails, large multi-spoke alloy wheels and an extended wheelbase.
- Rear Section: Equipped with vertically oriented C-shaped LED tail lamps, a heavy-duty tailgate with stencilled Mahindra branding. Also, an illuminated light strip below the rear glass.
- Cabin Layout: Expected to mirror the Scorpio N's interior design, incorporating a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system, physical climate controls and USB-C charging ports.

Expected Powertrains and Technical Specs
The production-spec pickup is constructed on an updated, stiffer steel ladder-frame platform designed for heavy-duty payload capacity and global safety standards. Mechanically, it is slated to share its engine options with the Scorpio N lineup.
Power is expected to come from Mahindra’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, producing 172 bhp and up to 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic. Drive options will encompass both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations equipped with low-range transfer cases and terrain management modes. Models include Normal, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut and Sand.
The official teaser signals Mahindra’s strategic expansion into international lifestyle pickup markets like Australia, South Africa and South America. So, it gets Position as an accessible alternative to established mid-size pickup trucks. This production-spec Global Pik Up bridges the gap between rugged utility and modern passenger car comfort.
