Google News

Tata Motors has released the first teaser of the Sierra EV ahead of its official debut on June 30. Tata's upcoming Sierra EV will be the brand's seventh EV and will slot between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV. The Sierra EV is expected to share several components with the Harrier EV while retaining its iconic design.
Tata Sierra EV: Design and Feature Highlights
The Sierra EV will carry forward the overall styling of the ICE-powered Sierra. However, Tata will introduce a few EV-specific changes to give it a distinct identity.
Key Exterior and Interior Highlights
- Familiar Sierra Design: The SUV will feature a boxy shape, connected LED headlamps and tail lamps, blacked-out pillars, and the signature curved rear glass design.
- EV-Specific Front Styling: Unlike the ICE version, the Sierra EV is expected to get a body-coloured closed grille for a cleaner electric vehicle appearance.
- Premium Wheel Design: Higher variants could come equipped with stylish 19-inch alloy wheels.
- Advanced Cabin Layout: Top variants may offer a triple-screen setup consisting of a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch passenger display are also anticipated to be offered.
- Comfort and Convenience Features: Expected features include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, drive modes, a premium sound system, and a head-up display.

Expected Price and Rivals of Tata Sierra EV
The Sierra EV will strengthen Tata's EV portfolio and target buyers looking for a premium midsize electric SUV. The company could price the model between Rs. 18 lakh and Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Once launched, the Sierra EV will compete with the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Maruti e-Vitara.
With its iconic design and multiple battery options, the Tata Sierra EV could become one of the most anticipated electric SUVs. More details will emerge when Tata officially unveils the model on June 30.
