Tata Punch Facelift Hitting Roads Now: Officially Confirmed

Tata Punch Facelift, launched last month (in Jan-2026), is now getting nationwide deliveries. Recently, Tata motors gave an official confirmation, and this new Tata car is finally sprinting on roads.

Available at the ex-showroom price of 5.59 Lakh onwards, the updated punch car aims to consolidate its position as India’s top selling SUV. You’ll get a combined sharper design inspired by Punch EV with a tech-heavy interior, the facelifted model is now arriving at dealerships and reaching customers across the country.

Updated Design and Segment-First Features

This New Tata Car is not just getting its visual upgrade, but also significant functional upgrades and segment-first mechanical combinations that cater to the evolving Indian buyer.

  1. Sharper Exterior Aesthetics featuring slim LED DRLs, vertically stacked LED headlights and a redesigned bumper gives it a mini-safari look. It also gets fresh 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a new LED light bar at the rear.
  2. The interior of this updated Tata Punch now has a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  3. Introduced first-in-segment CNG-AMT combination and first CNG car in India to offer paddle shifters, bringing convenience to the eco-conscious driver.
  4. Available in different variations with 8 various personas: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Pure+ S, Adventure, Adventure S, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S.


Updated Performance Parameters

Tata Motors has expanded the performance points of the Punch car, ensuring there is a variant for every type of driver - from the city commuter to the highway cruiser.

Engine Specifications

  1. 1.2L Revotron Petrol: Produces 88 PS and 115 Nm (Available in 5-speed MT and AMT).
  2. 1.2L i-CNG: Features Tata’s famous Twin Cylinder technology, ensuring no compromise on boot space, delivering 73 PS.
  3. New 1.2L Turbo Petrol: For enthusiasts, a new 1.2L turbo engine is now available, churning out 120 PS and 170 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Upgraded Safety Specifications

Safety remains the top priority of the new Tata Punch Facelift. The new punch car is equipped with:

  1. Six Airbags as standard across the range.
  2. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and ABS with EBD.
  3. 360-degree Camera: A premium addition for effortless parking in tight city spots.
  4. TPMS & Rain Sensing Wipers: Features usually reserved for higher segments.

This all new Tata Punch upgraded version offers an incredible deal in the price range of Rs. 5.59 lakh to roughly Rs. 10 lakh. Correcting the shortcomings of its previous version, Tata punch is now equipped with more solid features, both visually and functionally strong. As deliveries pick up pace this February, the "Small but Tough" SUV is set to dominate the sales charts once again, facing off against rivals like the Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3 with renewed vigor.
