1. Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift

(5th August 2026)

The Scorpio-N Facelift is likely to be launched in Mumbai on August 5, 2026, with some cosmetic changes but no expected revisions mechanically. The SUV won't see mechanical changes, continuing with its existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Rather it's all about the cabin, which features a 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital driver display from the Thar Roxx. Interesting features include a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS and a panoramic sunroof.

Changes on the outside remain minimal with new alloy wheels and updated lighting features, maintaining the SUV's rugged, muscular profile.

2. Honda Elevate EV

(15th August 2026)

The Honda Elevate EV is the brand's first-ever electric SUV, which will hit the market under Honda's ACE (Asian Compact Electric) project, on August 15, 2026. The production of this marks the first EV model from Honda in India, manufactured at Honda's Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. It's expected to use a front-wheel-drive single motor setup, delivering a claimed ARAI range of 400-450 km.

The Elevate EV will be in competition with the Tata Sierra EV and Mahindra BE 6 in the range of Rs. 18-22 lakh. This launch is also a clear indication of Honda's wider foray into the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment in India.

3. Mahindra Thar.e

(15th August 2026)
Mahindra Thar E electric SUV.webp

Along with the Scorpio-N Facelift, Mahindra is set to introduce the Thar.e or as it is commonly called, the Vision T on August 15th, 2026. It is built on the dedicated INGLO-P1 EV platform, and this represents Mahindra's first attempt into EV offroading. Considering the exterior, well all the styling elements will more or less come from Thar, such as the boxy look, rugged silhouette, using modern EV styling cues.

It will feature a dual-motor system that allows for all-wheel drive, and will be powered by an estimated 60kWh battery pack. Priced between Rs. 20-25 lakh, the Thar.e will go head-to-head with other EVs like Tata's Sierra.

Note that this debut may be a near-production reveal rather than a full commercial launch.

4. Mahindra BE 6 Facelift 2026

(15th August 2026)

Additionally, the BE 6 is likely to receive an update on August 15, 2026, which will come as part of Mahindra's yearly facelift, not a complete revamp. The most striking change is the new triple-screen dashboard design, borrowing from the XEV 9E and XEV 9S. A re-themed cabin and cabin enhancements based on customer feedback will be included, but there will be no change to the battery or powertrain.

The updated BE 6 will be priced between 18.90-26.90 lakh and is expected to stay competitive with the Tata Sierra EV and Hyundai Creta Electric.

5. Skoda Slavia Facelift

(18th August 2026)
