MG Motor India Records 29.83% YoY Growth in June 2026

JSW MG Motor India reported strong domestic performance in June 2026, selling 7,568 units, compared to 5,829 units in June 2025. This marks a solid 29.83% year-on-year growth, driven by rising demand across both EV and ICE segments. The company also showed improvement over the previous month, reflecting steady customer interest in its product portfolio. Overall, June sales highlight strong momentum in MG’s domestic market performance.

MG Motor India Sales Performance in June 2026

The company’s performance shows a clear upward trend compared to last year, with June 2026 sales reaching 7,568 units. On a month-on-month basis, sales also improved compared to May 2026, which stood at 6,048 units, reflecting a 25.13% increase. This growth indicates strengthening demand and improved market traction.

EVs Continue to Lead Growth

JSW MG Motor India attributed its strong June performance to rising demand for electric vehicles, which contributed nearly 75% of the overall growth. This is because of the higher fuel prices and lower running costs. Its EV lineup, including Comet EV, Windsor EV, ZS EV, Cyberster, and M9, played a key role in boosting sales. The company also noted steady demand for ICE models, highlighting balanced growth across its portfolio.

Commenting on the results, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India, said:

“Our June performance shows steady demand across our entire product range and marks our highest-ever wholesale performance. Electric vehicles continue to make up a strong share of our total sales. At the same time, we are also seeing good customer response to our ICE models, which shows the strength of our wide and balanced product lineup.”
