JSW MG Motor India reported a mixed performance in May 2026, with a year-on-year decline. The company recorded a 4.06% year-on-year decline compared to the same month last year. Sales reached 6,048 units in May 2026, down from 6,304 units in May 2025. However, volumes improved from 6,018 units sold in April 2026. This increase resulted in a 0.50% month-on-month growth, indicating stable market demand.

MG Strengthens Portfolio with Majestor SUV

A major highlight during May 2026 was the start of dealership dispatches for the newly launched MG Majestor. Positioned as the company's flagship SUV, the Majestor is available in both 6-seat and 7-seat layouts and targets buyers looking for a premium full-size SUV experience. Alongside its strong SUV lineup, MG continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio, with the Windsor EV remaining one of the key contributors.
