Kia India has expanded its Assured Buyback Programme across its internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) portfolio. The programme aims to give eligible customers greater clarity about their vehicles’ future value and simplify the process of exchanging or upgrading to another car. This initiative offers multiple ownership plans based on vehicle type, tenure and annual mileage, catering to different driving requirements.
Kia Extends Assured Buyback Benefits Across Its Vehicle Range
The expanded programme covers several Kia cars, including the Sonet, Syros, New Seltos, Carens, Carens Clavis and Sorento, across applicable powertrain options. These include petrol, diesel, CNG, hybrid and electric cars, allowing customers to select plans according to their preferred vehicle and ownership needs.
By establishing an assured residual value at the time of purchase, the programme helps eligible buyers estimate how much their vehicle may be worth at the end of the selected period. This can make future financial planning and vehicle upgrades more predictable, subject to the programme's terms and conditions.
Assured Buyback Value and Plan Options
The programme offers different residual value commitments and tenure options depending on the powertrain. Customers can choose from multiple annual mileage limits based on their expected vehicle usage.

Enrollment Through Authorised Kia Dealers
Customers can enroll in the programme through participating authorised Kia dealer partners when purchasing an eligible vehicle. At the end of the selected tenure, they can access the assured buyback value in accordance with their agreement.
The programme is independently administered by the relevant programme partner. Enrolment, vehicle eligibility, valuation and settlement are governed by the applicable terms and conditions and the agreement between the customer and the programme partner.
Kia India on the Announcement
Sharing the company’s view on the expanded programme, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing at Kia India, said:
“A vehicle purchase is a long-term decision, and customers increasingly seek greater certainty around future value and upgrade convenience. By expanding our Assured Buyback Programme with industry best resale value of upto 75% on ICE and upto 70% for EV in 3 years, we are enabling eligible customers to understand their vehicle’s assured residual value at the outset and plan their ownership journey with greater confidence. The initiative reflects our commitment to building enduring customer relationships and delivering consistent value from the first purchase through to the next exchange or upgrade.”
